Both the amplifier and preamp are built into Par-Metal chassis
The amplifier is the Class D Audio CDA-254L but has several upgrades: increased power supply capacitance with Panasonic TS-HA caps bypassed with Nichicon Fine Gold and Sonicaps, upgraded rectifier, optimized output filter for 8 ohm loads (stock amp is optimized for 4 ohm loads), increased heatsinking, and a 5V trigger input (could easily be swapped for 12V).

The preamp is a DIY Pass Labs B1 buffer. I've used the extra 18VAC taps on the CDA-254L transformer to send power to the buffer, which is rectified and filtered inside the buffer. The buffer has 4 inputs and two outputs; one set of the outputs is XLR (not truly balanced) for easy use with a proamp. Also, the buffer has a stepped attenuator volume control with a bypass switch for HT use. The coupling caps are Clarity and russian teflon.
Asking $400 plus shipping for the pair.
