Wall treatments in my new condo

Moved from my big house to a condo.  Wall treatments are in order.  I will be installing just front and rear panels. No bass traps.  I need just advice on two things.  A good manufacturer and if I should go with 2 inch thickness or 4 inch thickness.

In general, I think it's a mistake to not do broadband bass control.  That said, at least from a decay time standpoint, the 4" panels will provide a bit of it in addition to whatever else you're shooting for.

I agree with Bryan that two inches thick is the better choice. And if you can put some of those panels near to corners, they'll help to absorb bass even if they don't straddle the corners.

You might look at these guys for DIY supplies.

Have received prompt shipments and fast answers to email on several occassions.  I made 2" panels for walls (and a couple on the ceiling) and am very pleased, although some friends now think my room is overdamped.  It is a lot of work covering and hanging them yourself, but savings are significant.
