Darn - I was eyeing that 7 Steps album, but had run out of room in my suitcase the last trip down.
how about this one....http://www.vintagerecords.com/I was curious about the area where i used to live & found it doing a search. never been there but it says it's been around for 30 yrs. in the 70's when i lived in coconut grove i shopped at the happy note which also served as a head shop. it was a great store as i remember. up here in gainesville we still have 2 record stores thankfully. a good friend (sharpe's music) just retired & closed his last year.
As the OP, I'd be remiss if I didn't check it on my Miami LP hunt. One night I headed to Radioactive, and either I got bad instructions or didn't LISTEN*, and couldn't find the place. The next day got to the right place but had very little time, and came up empty. Nice place, well organized, decent prices, and an eclectic selection, but I only had ten minutes and bailed out.Next time I'll MAKE time. GPS? Those are for sissies! Not for dead-reckoning, lay-of-the-land, seat-of-my-pants, stubborn, pig-headed, red-blooded, cheap-ass know-it-alls like me!
hey joe, the other 2 shops in g'ville are Hyde & Zeke on NW 10th Ave & Hear Again (alot of new vinyl) downtown near the Hippodrome Theatre.
