Not a problem. They will work well in a small room so long as you can get them at least 3 feet out from the back wall. Being open baffle, they will not load the room like a typical speaker. And with the controls that you have on the servo amp, you can easily balance them in any room.
3 feet from the back of the speaker to the wall. Every speaker greatly benefits from being pulled into the room, but it's a bit of a must with some designs.How far back would your seating be from the speakers?

I had this odd, but perhaps functional, idea to put some wheels on a V1, V2, (V3) type open baffle speaker so that I could push the out of the way when not in use. My super sandbox subwoofer has wheels (thankfully). But wheels are so... not spikes.
