I own them, they're alright, not amazing. Of course I paid a bit more than double of what you paid so maybe that's why I'm lukewarm to them. I'm definitely selling them soon.
Pez, OUCH....sorry for your loss. That sux.I too am considering the JH 13, 16, and JH-3A amp/dsp combo as you can tune the bass and supposedly provides superior performance though I am skepitcal of this. Unfortunatley there is no practical way I know of to audition these to see if 1) they are a large enough step up from the Tri10's 2)Audition within the JH line to determine if I can detect a point of diminishing returns etc.As Im sure you are aware, that J Harvey of JH is the founder of UE and I believe designed the tri10's before Logitech bought UE and forced? him out.
Who cares about the cable? You can get an aftermarket (much better) one very easily.http://aloaudio.com/alo-audio-iem-custom-48-occ-large-gauge-jhaudio-westone.html ...your right, I always carry $300+ dollars just for that occasion...I love these iems...they're very popular on headfi.org and for good reason...they are great. ....so your endorsing or recommending these correct?? I was wondering because down below you say this isn't the place to do that???I think my next step is to go custom mold for them. Head-fi is the place for headphone recommendations, btw....not here. ... I apologize I guess I don't understand the title of this circle AudioCircle > Circles > Headphone Mania-Jim
