Was wondering who makes a D/A that is not so expensive($500.000) and sounds really good.

Only needs to be 2ch and able to recieve one coax in and one optical in.

It should have at least a 24/96 D/A in it as well.

Channel Island, Scott Nixon Tubedac are two excellent choices in our price range. I don't know if the Tubedac has both inputs though but the CIA does.

If you can stretch your budget to around $850 used, the Bel Canto Dac2 does all that you require and it sounds great too.

BTW - the SN Tube Dac does not upsample to 24/96.  But let's not turn this thread into a debate as to whether that is a good thing or not.

For under $500 used, you could consider the Bel Canto DAC1.
