Just wanted to note that though the company was founded in 1962 by three founders, from which the name Bryston came from, it was at that time a medical equipment manufacturing company - not related to audio products in any way. It was not until 1968 that John Russell Sr. acquired it and changed the mandate. So perhaps an Anniversary of the modern company would be based on the 1968 date or even perhaps the date they introduced their first Bryston audio product - the Pro 3 in 1973.
I would also think that any Anniversary Product might be a limited edition reflection of the original Pro 3. Perhaps a modern take on the original features and styling cues (note that it had VU meters). Say a Pro 3 with some gold trim built using today's (3B-SST/2 guts) and construction quality, parts etc. but with the VU meters and styling cues from the original.
Even better would be to have Chris Russell's signature - together with perhaps the rest of the Executive ownership / design teams signatures on the amp top plate.
That all said - might we be waiting until 2018 or 2023 to celebrate 50yrs?
