Interesting find Gustavo. GM 70 is a fine tube to work with. Love the SET sound.

Wow! Those are beautiful looking amplifiers. Nicely done!  :thumb:

What are the two tall amplifiers in this picture? :

Are they tube powered subwoofers, or just really tall amplifiers?

I too fell the amp looks cool. 8)
I not know this circuit, as it use two tubes for supply rectification and three tubes for input.
Would be nice to know more about it, if possible.
Thanks

OK, thanks, I appreciated your effort. But I can not read schematics.
All I can see is the output B+=1200V and primary=7Kohms.
Thanks anyway, it is my fault.

output transformers

k, normal c-core, without silver...
primary impedance 7kOhm
secondary impedance 6 Ohm
Power output 50W

amplifier is 35 watts
6sn7>6h30p (buffer reduces the inductance)>300b>gm70 :)

Thanks Utopia for more info.
As a curious info I mention below, some other GM70 input stage tubes:
De Havilland: 12SN7 + 300B + GM70 old model
De Havilland: 12SN7 + 6AU5 + GM70 new model
SAC-Thailand: 6SL7 + 2A3 + GM70 SET from a custom order
SAC-Thailand: 6N1P + 6BL7 + interstage to two GM70 PP=70W

300B is a great drive tube, being a triode, DHT and plenty of power to drive the GM70.

This does not play, I do not recommend heard these amplifiers
