Thanks Mike!

IMO, they look better with the grilles on.

I'm puzzled as to why the surface in the close up picture appears so uneven.

Is that a result of the flash and dust? Did you wipe them down just before snapping the pics? It's really messing with me!

Thanks again,

Ruben

Probably dust and perhaps reflections of the room treatments. I didn't wipe them down, just went to my room, powered up the amps and snapped the photos while the filaments were heating. I'll see about getting a pic that won't cause you distress. :D

Ruben,

What are the dimensions of the cabinets and what is the cost per cabinet?

Thanks, Garth

Thanks Mike, but no need for more pics. I've gotten the OCD under control now. :D

Hey Garth,

As shown, $700.00. (promo)

They can be built however you'd like though!

I'll send you those dimensions later today.

Thanks!

That is some of the finest work I have seen for $700 the quality easily looks to be 2-4 times that price. I would love to have one of those in my room but would have to build it myself and know it would not come out that wonderfull.

Hi Ruben,

Those really look amazing! That white one is especially sharp looking.  :thumb:

I have a quick question about the MDF, where on earth do you get it 1 1/2" thick? I've tried asking my normal wood shop that carries everything under the sun with no luck. They not only can't order it, but they have no idea where to point me. Big home improvement stores looked at me funny when asking for it and informed me they can't get anything over 3/4".

Thanks,
Kristian

Pretty sure the white is the primer before finishing.

Just a thought, but rather than go all over trying to find it, why not just glue two piece of 3/4" MDF together? Probably cheaper than finding 1-1/2" and easy to do  :thumb:

Scott's right, that's primer. I agree though, they did look pretty cool like that!

The 1 1/2" MDF that I picked up was made in Canada. It was a one time deal so I picked up a bunch of it. The thickest I can get through my supplier is 1 1/4".

Sierra Pine advertises a couple of 1-1/2" MDF's: Arreis® and Medite® II

Thanks Stewart.

Now that I've had the pleasure of moving 1 1/2" MDF sheets (these are 5' x 10') around the shop alone, I doubt I'll be using it again once these are gone.
