Hi Guys,

The network is ONLY used to 'SEE' what is on the USB drives connected to the BDP-1 through a handheld remote like the Itouch or smart phone or on a Web Browser anywhere there is a computer in the house on the same network.

The nice thing about the music player is that you are completely open in regards to your music (file) location. Using IP protocol allows you to access music files locally in your house, or remotely located somewhere on the internet.

Which brings up a question, James what is the buffer size on this product going to be?

Cheers

Hi,

There are 3 buffers at this point - will ask engineering the sizes.

Hi all,
I have been following this thread with much interest.

Question? If you place a complete  album on a thumb drive will it be possible to play the music file directly without a hand-held remote like Itouch etc?

Hi,

We are working on some ideas on that to see what can be done. By the way we changed this thread to the Bryston Digital Music Player as the music server heading is misleading.
