John,

Yeah, 3ft^3 would have probably been great with no LT, but since this needed to double as an end table 2ft^3 w/LT worked out better for me.  I'm posting a response graph I took.  Granted it's with a test disc, a Rat Shack meter, and a correction spreadsheet, but you'll see with the corrected values I'm flat to 10Hz in my room!

You'll notice that the curves without the LT start at 15Hz instead of 10Hz.  This is because I got no readings below 15Hz with the meter at it's lowest setting and did not want to adjust the master volume and skew the readings.

I was a bit skeptical about placing the sub in it's current location because it's along the back wall right next to my sofa and about 2' from the left corner.  But after taking readings of another sub at the front of my room just inside my right main speaker I actually had two peaks, one around 40Hz and the other around 80Hz.  With the Tumult next to the sofa I only get that very wide peak centered around 45Hz.  If I ever get my BFD hooked up I should be able to take care of that one.

Here's the graph.  If nothing else, it will allow people to see visually what an LT circuit can do.
