Crossover Question
« on: 11 Nov 2009, 10:59 am »
Thinking of actively biamping my vr4hse's with ss, tubes and a 3way x-over.
How much work is it to get to the internal crossover for the m/t as well as the bass unit? And are they straight forward connections, from binding posts to the crossover to the drivers? Also,is the woofer units wired in parallel?

Yes i've seen this before. It will be totally reversible if the results aren't stellar.
And everything else I've  read for electronic xovers seem to far outweigh any
issues associated with it.

Hi
I am using active x-over between my pre and amps and it works great here.
Thanks

Good one!  Reminds me of people buying $15k speakers and then can't place them properly.
