No, I guess for anyone interested. My tastes do tend to be a bit more "melodic", or maybe "commercial" than Nathan's, and I'm a little older than him, so my favorites tend to be from '84 to '90 or so.
I will concede to being fascinated with making compilations. I've been doing it for two and a half decades, starting with putting my favorite 45's onto cassette tape. Buying my first stand-alone CD-R deck for my home stereo seriously upped the ante, and nowadays I crank CDs in their multitudes on the PC.
Anyone who attempts to put together discs full of favorites will realize how difficult it is to boil the essentials of an entire genre down to a single 80 minute CD-R. Hell, I had trouble deciding what to put on my Iron Maiden CD-R (a true classic, if I do say!). What you omit can say more than what you include. I take my hat off to Nathan on cranking out a really cool disc, and I'm sure he could've easily made a five disc set and still lamented cutting certain things out.
My brother made a really cool set of discs he titled "The Metal 80's". He created one disc for each year of the Metal 80's, and made a jewel case insert with this really cool metallic silver paper (that I've been totally unable to find for 3 years now!

).
It'll take me awhile as I ponder what I'll include, but it looks like I've got time on my hands right now.
BTW, I'd be interested in trading samplers of different types with any AC'ers that want to expand their musical horizons, so to speak. Look what you've started, NathanM!
