I'm due to have a little GTG.  I'll try to get my mind wrapped around a target date.

I've got some more work to do in the room with adding diffusion and some more bass trapping.

Oh well, I won't be moving up to Ann Arbor until May or June, so I'll probably miss whatever GTG is planned.  I'll keep an eye on this thread though.

Let me make another plug for the Southern Michigan Audio Club (SMAC), which meets every month in the metro Detroit area. We even have our own sub-form over at Audiokarma - http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=151.

The date/location of the Jan 2008 meeting has not been decided yet, but usually, somebody steps up without fail. We have about 40 or so members (maybe more). Around 20-25 show up for the GTG. The SMAC has been meeting without a break for almost 2 years.

Pete hosted a GTG for the SMAC in September 2007 - it was great. I hosted one in July 2007. It is a lot of fun. There is usually a music swap. Sometimes, equipment comparisons take place. But there is always good company, good music and liquid refreshments to fortify yourself.
