Regarding the Pass, this amplifier has played well with the LS's, the MBL's and the Dynes (except the Dyns burned
). That being said the Pass will go up for sale in favor of tube amps. We both seem to really enjoy rooms that are using Prima Luna or Rogue Audio amps. Manley too is a wonderful amp and so is Cary and on and on and on.
A piece of plastic broke on one of the binding posts on my Pass amp. No big deal but since I'm selling it, it must be perfect. FYI I bought it used (who could afford a new one?) I called Pass the day befor New Years Eve and spoke with a gentleman who said he could help me with the part but given the holiday, it might be delayed. I said no hurry. The next morning at my front door in priority mail was a COMPLETE set of binding posts. All the parts! Must have been hundreds of dollars worth of parts. The guy must have sprinted to the post office. Oh and no charge.
A week ago David Beetles (Allnic distributor) called me from New York to make sure that I was happy with his product and to offer some adjustments to the way the front meters work. I didn't even purchase the preamp from him! I bought it used! And this wasn't the first time he's called.
