Nice teaser there Vinnie...

Not sure how you get it all done in a year that has had so many major events for you.

Thanks - I'm still trying to figure this out myself!  :duh:  :green:

Anyone with experience using the sig 30.2 interg. with Harbeth SHL5?

I assume it can work since the Harbeth is easy to drive but will there be punch enough and is it soundwise a good match????

anybody using Harbeth SHL5?

I alternate between my WLM Diva Monitors and the Harbeth Compact 7ES3 paired with a JL Audio F110 sub. While I like them both, I prefer the overall balance, frequency cohesion, treble quality and perceived energy of the Harbeth 7s to the Diva. I auditioned both the Harbeth SHL 5 and the Compact 7s with the "going in" intention of buying the SHL 5, but in a direct A/B comparison, I found the match of the 7s with my Isabella and Sig 30.2 to be much more lively, and compelling, at least to my tastes in my system and in my room. The Isabella/30.2 had synergy with both the Diva and the Compact 7s. The HLS 5 seemed too laid back and less interesting in the Red Wine system to me. I liked the HLS 5 better with higher powered SS amplification. Hope this helps.

I'm using a LFP-V Sig 30.2 to drive my Quad 988s in a relatively small room (16' x 14').  Most of the frequency range is outstanding with this combo, but I'm lacking adequate bass output.  The quality of the bass I hear is excellent, but not much quantity and doesn't provide the proper foundation to the music.  These Quads aren't known for their bass output from the start, but I'm just wondering if anyone else is using Red Wine products with Quads and if they have this same experience, or have they solved it in a creative way?

Hi,

Im waiting for my 30.2 LFP-V to arrive in the next few days.

I have Epos ES22 speakers which are 86db and 6 ohm.
I listen at low to medium levels, so the 30.2 should be sufficient, current amps are 35 and 50 watts a channel, and they are plenty loud enough with the Epos speakers as I use them.
The ES22's only have one choke for the bass unit and one capacitor for the tweeter, and the midrange is connected direct, so it could be considered a halfway point from crossover to full range design ?

Does anyone else run Epos speakers with 30.2 ?, Id be interested in their opinions.

Ultimately I would like to get ZU, WLM or Omega speakers.

I am driving ACI Sapphire XL's with my Signature 30.2. They are 85.5 db with a nominal impedance between 4 and 6 ohms. They play loud enough in my small room to make conversation quite difficult. This is without any sense of strain and with total clarity. I credit the tremendous current available from the LFP-V battery power supply.

Yes, I bought the XLs as B-stock back in November 2008.
