If I had thought I'd be called a lier, I'd have kept my mouth shut. Not really, I made a mistake and will own up to it. I only see one line 2/3 of the way in the back of the board. The bunk of the board IS one solid piece but 3". Do I get the benefit of the doubt here? Regards, Robin

I was just messin w/ya Robin.

You had no reason to actually pay attention to how many pieces of wood your board is made of before (really, would would give a f***), so you never bothered to really inspect the damn thing and remember what you observed.

Therefore you couldn't have been lieing as you weren't aware of the full truth...

Anyway, was asking if you were sure about the board being 2 pieces as it's possible for there to be glue joints that people can't easily discern. I know I've done a few of them purposefully. I knew where they were as I put them there. But if I didn't know they were there, I'd have a hell of a time finding them even though I know exactly what to look for.

So you say you've checked and only see 2 pieces, then I believe you.

Though I would not be surprised if it was actually made up of more than 2 pieces just because I know that it can be very hard to discern glue joints, be they done that way on purpose or by accident. Such a glue joint is very, very hard to do intentionally. And the odds of it happening accidentally are probably astronomical...

I think I agree with you and stop here. Hell, if I had known of these other cutting boards, I probably had gone with them and saved a few bucks. And THAT'S THE TRUTH!!    :rotflmao:    Regards, Robin

Just ordered more!  :o

Talked with Chris, indeed he is a nice guy.  He was pretty tickled about this thread.

FYI, you shouldn't have any warping with the timber nation platforms because of the way they are constructed.  For me this is a big selling point.
