How could they know after the fact and not in possession of said faulty discs that they are insufficiently dusted?  I suppose this employee could have been making the same mistakes on many clients' discs and this is a massive recall effort a la faulty seatbelts in Brand X auto.

Don't tell me that you'd have to pay shipping back and forth.  Please.

Isn't there anyone else out there who's willing to drop a C-note on a hunch? I want a second opinion.

Cheers,

OH yeah!  I love it.

I'm just going to pass on these guys. This is the classic trick.  When they don't get the results
they expect, they tell you that the review sample was faulty.

The guy at Continuum did the same thing.  I didn't think the Continuum was the best table
in the world, so a month later they called me back to tell me that there was an incorrect
o-ring in the tonearm, so I couldn't hear it's full glory!

Ugh!

If this is such a complicated and proprietary process, why do they have the guy thats
sweeping the floor do it?

Big scam.

How about dong a null test? I wonder whether there is any difference at all between the CDs you sent and the CDs you received.

The first time you fool me, shame on you.  The second time, shame on me.

Plus, if it is so important that the setup is so right in order to hear it's glory, then what gaurantee does the consumer have that they are going to get the right setup?  I mean, even the sample that they sent to the reviewer wasn't correct, then what hope does the average joe consumer have?

I think it's the old bend over special. It costs so much, so it's got to be great. Just pay me and shut up.

Now smile and take it like the chump that you are  :shake: :deadhorse:  :slap:

I agree gentlemen...

And no offense to our readers with more reasonable systems, but if I couldn't hear the difference
on a Naim 555, Meridian 808.2 or a Wadia 781SE, I just don't think that the guy out there with
an Oppo or Cambridge is going to hear anything either.

I really hate it when people pull this crap. I just feel terrible for people that actually spent money
on this.  It's certainly not one of those "we have so much confidence in our process that if you
can't hear it, we refund your money" kind of things.

I do sincerely hope this thread stopped a few people from doing business with them.

And by the way, happy new year!
