Greetings from Estonia

I'm an amateur audiophile who stepped into the DIY audio world just a month ago. I’m always looking to improve whatever I work on, and I’ve quickly fallen in love with the DIY lifestyle.
Right now, I’m working with a pair of Elac Debut Reference DBR62s. They already sound great, but I’m trying to push them even further. My first step is upgrading the crossover components and internal wiring. Eventually, I plan to design an entirely new crossover to achieve a flatter frequency response—especially since I find the mids a bit shallow for my taste.
If anyone has gone down a similar path or has thoughts on this kind of modding journey, I’d love to hear your ideas!

Welcome to AudioCircle! There is a band from Tallinn called Wolfredt that I think is amazing. They did a YouTube show during the lock-downs called "Live At Rude Rats" that was simply incredible. I wanted to see them when we visited Estonia last August, but they weren't playing locally. Lot's of great music coming from that area!

Thanks, Slush Puppy! Estonia is a small country, so it's surprising this band slipped under my radar 😅. Their sound reminds me of Argo Vals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnAg-yq1rT4&ab_channel=ArgoVals
