Hey, Friends:
Recently, I picked up a Luxman D 100 cd player on Facebook Marketplace for $10. I knew it was a risk, because it was described as not reading discs. The seller said it might be as easy as a lens cleaning being needed. However, it seems to be that the laser needs to be replaced. A local tech said parts are an issue for a unit that old. However, I figured someone here might know a good parts source. Any ideas? I have a couple nice players, but this seems like an intriguing pick up. If I could get it going again at a reasonable cost, it might be nice. Your thoughts are welcome. Thanks, as always.

Info on the complete list of dacs and cd lasers used in different players says "KS-152A / TOPH7833" for the Luxman D-100. Seems like you'll have to investigate which of the two was used.
