How did you paint your subs?  They almost look like they are sanded and sealed natural from the pick.

They are painted the same color as the Line Forces. Mazda Ceramic Metallic. Jay (captainhemo) had them painted for me before I picked them up.

The 12 OB servo sub modules from Jay are ready for painting.  Should be going next week to the finishing shop.

Dropped off the 12 modules, tops and bases for painting on Friday. 

Now the work begins for the paint shop.

If you took 4 of these (Doubles) and had them as single units on the floor, left and right, can you attach those thicker flush tops to both sides, where they bolt together?  It's a little tough to make out, but it looks like each modular unit has 2 holes on front / back of woofer sides where they are bolted together.  Can you put 2 of those thicker, flush top caps on each one, so hey look the same? You mentioned earlier the different top cap versions and assume the caps can go on both side of the single modular unit.

What I may do is play with them with stand mount speakers, and have a modular unit on either side of the base of the speaker stand.  I'd like them to look symmetrical rather than just a "disassembled unit of 2".  If there are 4 holes in each, in addition to the flush caps, I could have some feet / spikes go all the way thru the "bottom cap" so I can have a nice setup of each of them being on the floor by themselves.  Of course, if I need a hole... I can drill one. 

Hopefully I'm making sense.

Rich, with this wiring plugged into 2 units, it would be interesting to see how far apart they could be from one another on the floor.  In other words, getting an idea of how long is too long for servo wires, and what that means for max module spacing.  I wonder if it could be the way you normally wire them up would give me enough spread between them, if I wanted.

The longest wiring from amp cable to what I want to use is 3.5ft. 

Some of these are longer cables, so will be cutting them shorter.  I also use the servo amp wiring from Rythmik Audio connected to the servo amp without cutting it short with a Neutrik Speakon 4-pole connector installed.
