Apparently, "SCL6" is another licensing scheme where they get paid for a CD-quality version of Bluetooth audio that could be better than CD quality if all the devices license the whole "SCL6" protocol. So, MQA blackmail payments ("pay us or else consumers will think your DACs are not up snuff") weren't working, so they went for the "worse than Spotify on a Motorola phone" Bluetooth audio market.
