I have a similar Dodd Preamp:

I was going to give this to a family member to use, as I cannot integrate it into my system.  However, I realize I do not have the charger.

The charges is a 24V, 2A lead-acid battery charger. Anyone know how I can find one of these?  In particular, what model/type do I need?  And where can I get a tip that mates with what the Dodd has?

Thank you.

After searching quite a while, I found this thread on it:

I'm going to buy the charger, just need to figure out a tip to buy too.  And then test the batteries.

Glad you found a solution.  There are some at Amazon that could be made to work for around $50, but if you can find the Soneil unit, it was the OEM for Gary.  I actually have a spare, but would part with it reluctantly.
