I've been trying to sell these locally for the last couple months to no avail, thought they might generate a little interest on here. As a starter I have lots of positive feedback on eBay, agon, head-fi.
I've had these amps for the last four years purchasing them from a local shop, who went through them thoroughly. One of the transformers went after about a year, so they removed both of them and made me an external power supply. The amps connect to them via a 5 pin din connection. They also have upgraded 5-way binding posts so running any kind of connection is simple. I paid $450 for the amps originally, and have put a good deal more than that back into them getting them up and running, after the transformer issues.
Really nice musical sounding amps, great quality for the early 80's era. I've powered a number of different sets of speakers with them with great results. They are a 6/10 cosmetically, some of the led's on one of the amps come and go intermittently (the bottom few leds the top half work 100% of the time). I'm sure this could be fixed as sometimes all of them light up correctly, I've just never taken them apart to find out.
I'm looking to simplify my system to a low watt intergated tube amp (something like a Jolida 102b), as these are being used in my bedroom system and take up to much space with separates. I would also love to have a Rega Maia to pair up with my Cursa3/Apollo, otherwise I will probably be selling my Cursa3 pre-amp as well. On that note if someone wants to trade for my Cursa3/HK 775 combo for a nicer tube integrated I'd be open to that. Asking $400 otherwise, or best reasonable offer. I'm located in the greater Seattle area, local transactions greatly preferred. I'm attaching some pics I took before but will take some updated ones here tomorrow.
