WTB - VMPS 626R

WTB - VMPS 626R

Right now I'm LOVING my RM30's with LRC center in piano black.  Unfortunately, my surrounds are the stepchildren and I've been hunting for some black 626R's for some time on Audiogon and here.  There's a pair in Oak with spiral tweeters on Audiogon but again, I am really hoping for black with the FST tweeter to match what I currently have.  Can anyone help me find some used 626's?  Thanks!

Sorry, can't help. I love the 626Rs. Not knocking the way you're using them at ALL. It just always makes me sad when they are relegated to surround duty. IMO they are one of the best monitors in the world. Good luck!  :thumb:

No offense, taken.  I know it's overkill but I really am finicky about driver matching.  The only other option I can see is the Ribbon Dipole Surround but at $2600, it's just too much (considering I paid $1500 for my RM30's and $650 for my LRC).  What are you currently using for center and surrounds?

I have a pair of 626R's with FST.  They are in the light oak finish.

I am using RM40s for center and surrounds.  :o Seriously though, I am running stereo. I have the 40s fully active and I swear it sounds like full surround on the right material.  :thumb:
