I discovered this track from around 1991 at RMAF. Played it in the room a lot. If you get the FLAC version, change to .wav using XLD on Mac. Big difference. Just 44.1, but fantastic track.

BTW, first time to really compare FLAC to .wav on a really resolving system. Now I convert all FLAC to .wav.

I concur with Steve. The difference between FLAC and WAV of the same file was easily audible on this highly resolving system.

That track was awesome, I was going to send you an email to see where I could get a lossless copy of it ... apparently Stills Alone is out of print and hard to find, and any downloads I've found are mp3 only.

I do not own the out of print one but he does a version of this song on his recently released Just Roll Tape recording from 1968.

The recording quality is not audiophile grade but I think the performance is awesome. The tapes were lost for years and found a couple years back.

I am familiar with the out of print version and it is amazing. One of my favorites. I will eventually pick up a copy of the out of print cd on ebay when I can afford to splurge. It usually sells for a pretty penny.
