I have a pair of ASL mono blocks using KT88's. I have a line on an McCormack TLC-1. Need advice
depends on your sources, interconnects & speakers, imo.. if ya have really efficient speakers, really short i/c's between amp & pre, & hi-voltage sources, (or at least two of the three), then yure gonna be ok. otherwise, i'd recommend active preamp.
