For sale is the one and only Pass Labs Aleph 3. It is in great condition, save for one tiny scratch 1-2 mm on top of a front-right heatsink fin. The color has taken on a bronze tint (evenly) due to heat/age -- they are ALL like this unless somebody has been crazy enough to leave it in a box for most of its life.
I am not the original owner and do not know the age of the unit. I have only had it for about 2 weeks. It works perfectly and sounds fantastic. I am only selling because my passive preamp is not a good match for the low input impedance of this amp. I have used it with an active preamp with great results, even on my 88 dB 4 ohm speakers, but want to keep my passive and am going with a high-powered tube amp. In this price range it's a no-brainer.
I do not have the original box, but will ship very securely in a great triple box the former owner sent it to me in. The manual is included, but as with most amps, it's just a computer print out.
