My wife told me about this an hour ago and my first question was, "is she under 40?" Good to see he didn't go for some young thing who might be after his money. I say good luck to them both.

Lets hope this is the last time. Do you guys realize that he married on John Lennon's birthday?

This is celebrity claptrap. Might as well be the Khardashians. McCartney fell from relevance when Lennon dropped him. He was never more than an able collaborator. Just gossip.

Rajacat - I can understand your point. But do you get the reference to one of his songs on the Ram album? I thought it was pretty funny, considering the obscure(?) reference. "... my dog he got three legs, your dog he got one ..."

Wish him the best of luck, although I don't believe it is McCartney.  Way too much evidence that points elsewhere.

Ah I see. :duh: I'm not enough of a fan to had picked that up. However, I think making fun of somebody's handicap is something we should have given up after leaving grammar school. I'm I being too sensitive? :bawl: I guess celebrities are fair game.

Oh well... I've haven't been much of a McCartney fan since the Beatles broke up. IMO none of the Beatles did much of note in their solo careers. The whole was much greater than the sum of the parts.

Wow! I can't believe I actually read that horse shit.  Phil A, did you actually read the piece about Faul to the end?  I can't believe that you did, as you probably wouldn't have posted it.  Bunch of racist blather.

I have not read anything.  I was referring to the pictures.  I've removed the links since some apparently have read something that offended them (I don't know what as I did not read them).

My point was about the pictures - below are two links (I have not read the text) which derive from a Mal Evans/Faul McCartney vacation in Kenya in either October or November 1966.  The video at one point was on YouTube but was removed I suspect for using music for which the poster had no rights.  After the death of Mal Evans, by strange if not suspicious means, the suitcase with his stuff ended up sold along with the videos.

You don't read what you post?

Just trust me when I say the article you posted was pointedly racist.  I doubt even Rush Limbaugh would disagree.

Yeah one of the links was ok, the one to the forum, the other was using the fake Paul conspiracy stuff with completely anti-semitic wacko propaganda at the end. The fake Paul thing is interesting and amusing in an x-files kind if way...maybe there was a stand in at some points for photos etc...

Why the negativity?  I read what I write. When I'm referencing photographic evidence by professional forensic personnel, I don't bother to read every single word which may not even be related to the article as commented by someone else (as I have no idea as to what racist stuff to which you were referring to as I still have not read it).   Since apparently there was stuff (more than one person saw it), I removed the links (I don't feel the need to go back and see what was posted - it is enough for me that whatever it was offended someone).  Some people see the glass as half empty and some see it as half full.  Did not mean to take this off subject - I merely offered congratulations and just noted I don't believe Mr. McCartney is still with us.

I'm not picking on you...swear.  It's just that there was a lot more to the link you posted than pictures...some truly whacked anti-semetic shit.

There's no negativity here.  I've got JJ Cale on and some damn fine tequila being poured.
