Now that Seinfeld is only in re-runs, and Andy Rooney has retired, who will asked the "important questions"?

What is Long Hair Music?  Why is it called that? and does it still apply?

 Nowadays it's only called that by the Octogenarians of the KKK lodge.

No idea if this is true, but perhaps the term came about because composers, conductors, and musicians in the service of royal courts in the "Classical" period all wore long hair wigs during their performances. All the period paintings depicting the greats in the Classical period are shown in their formal court attire. Beethoven, at the advent of the Romantic era, appears with hair disheveled & au natural.
