I knew it was my lucky day  when I awoke at precisely 7:11  My Insight+ 250 arrived yesterday safe and sound. I can't tell you how happy I am to have scored this amp. I think I'm hearing my speakers for the first time and I've owned them 20 yrs. I'm hearing things come through my system that I've never heard before, like the attack of the bass drum beater and other little things that make listening a more satisfying experience.  It was a pleasure doing business with you and I can't wait til the heating season is over to purchase one of your pre-amps.

The 105W version of the B&K ST-140. It seems anemic now.

Doc, was this a Hafler amp you had converted over?

First of all, thank your very much for your kind comments.  We really appreciate them.

The amplifier is built in a Hafler DH-220 chassis, but all the internal audio circuits are pure AVA.

The amp is essentially identical to a new AVA Insight+ 260 amp except for physical layout and a lot less money.
