SM, those pics are really nice, glad you hear improvements. I haven't discussed this with Dennis, wonder if that will make any difference in the IIs.It also appears the cabinets for the Is and IIs are getting very close to the US!!!! Excited!!!!!
Looking schweet. Guys try some Vibrapods they work wonders for this application. Not a Vibrapod dealer.charlesSMA
What amp and pre-amp are you using ?
Very nice, I'm looking at a purchase of the Philharmonic II's with the same amp/pre combination.
An update....(hope this is ok smwick)......I have posted in other threads about this news, but the Philly Is and IIs are expected at Dennis' TODAY!!! I am beside myself after a very long wait. I was at his house when he placed the order and it seems forever. He is also working on a pair of Monitor IIs for me as well with the .75 cabinet. I actually ordered them sight unseen (except a pic). Actually I can honestly say that I have never heard the IIs either.....I must be crazy or I just trust Dennis that much.....Yeah I do! Owning the CAOW1s, hearing the Phillys I and III, SSs and the Songtowers, I can say that I would be happy with any of the towers, but the Philly IIs price is what sold me and the RAAAAAAAAAAAL.And.....Dennis said that the II's are like the IIIs, except for lacking the bass of the Scanspeak woofer.smwick....Dennis said the Phillys were not too picky about wall placement, but you saw improvement when moving them 8 more inches right? What was the total distance from the wall and were they angled?I will have to talk to him about this when I pick them up. I definitely want the most out of them. We have a large room. Now all you need is some Monitors to go with them. He He.... Please continue to report any changes/improvement as we would greatly appreciate it.
Sooo impressive. Okay breath and repeat, I don't need new speakers, I don't need new speakers, I don't need new speakers
