Is it?  They are just the first, second and the latest albums.  5 LPs for $47 is good but are they the selections you want?  What about all the other ones in between?

The first two are different in style than their later albums. For me they are filling in a Wilco gap I meant to fill eventually.

I ordered the Wilco LP deal from Popmarket. Turns out that it is on back order. Did anyone get delivery yet?

I emailed them last week and got the backorder reply:  I'm sorry to inform you that the ordered product "Wilco- Vinyls" are in the status of backorder. The order will be shipped once it becomes available in our warehouse. You can follow the status of your order online using the link below

Thanks. I find it strange that the status page will not even an estimated date of delivery. I have never ordered anything from them before. Is this company for real?

Personally, I think "Being There" is Wilco's best and most complete album.  "AM" is ok and definitely the closest to the music from Uncle Tupelo.

As for the albums in between...you have some really good ones there.  "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" is viewed by many as Wilco's best, while "Summerteeth" was popular and had some great songs.  "Sky Blue Sky" and "Wilco" weren't as well received, but still had some good music on them.

Given the size of Wilco's catalog, I think you should own them all.

Put the order in as well & it is on backorder.
Ordered a few more specials a couple of day later & they are also on back order. Have paid for the lot and no GOODS being delivered, all on backorder.

Will not be doing any more business with this mob.   Looks like a costly exercise with no goods.

I like A Ghost is Born, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Being There, Sky Blue Sky in that order.... haven't gotten into the others yet.  Just bought the new one on vinyl which comes with the CD and the distributor made a mistake with the price and priced it too low but is honoring it.

One thing I've noticed about Wilco fans is that we are all over the map when it comes to our favorite Wilco albums. For me, it is now The Whole Love, Sky Blue Sky, Wilco (the Album), AM, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Being There in that order. I hated A Ghost Is Born and gave the record back to Bob at 4000 Holes to sell to someone who would appreciate it. I haven't listened to Summerteeth, but will soon. The Whole Love is really growing on me. The more I listen to it the more I like it.

WWow!  Different strokes I guess.  SBS and Wilco over YHF and Being There!  I think those two are good but kinda one note boring.

Impossible Germany is my favorite Wilco song of all time (so far at least) and a good part of the reason I like SBS so much.

I have been working on getting every Wilco album on vinyl, and have just two more to go.

The reason I have decided to go for the entire catalog is not because I love the band (this is true) but that their vinyl releases are done RIGHT.  Every single one I own is pressed clean and free of groove noise, and the attention to detail in the sound rivals any Mobile Fidelity release I have heard.

A great band with an exceptionally high quality vinyl release catalog!
