I have one GCPH phono stage just back from PS Audio where a new gain cell stage was just installed to repair a buzzing original and where the unit was checked out to ensure all else was well. It's still sitting in shipping box, ready to go to a new owner as I upgraded while this was back at the factory. Lots about this on the web (see e.g.,
http://www.psaudio.com/ps/products/detail/gcph-phono-preamplifier) but for those who need to know, it drives both single ended and balanced outs, has multiple gain and load settings so it will work with everything, and has it's own front dial gain control so you can use it as a dedicated preamp to drive a power amp directly if you want a pure vinyl set up. Remote control too.
Mine is lightly used, now in top (re-)condition and still sealed from the factory, and ready to ship. I've checked the prices on A'gon Blue Book and the various listings from B-stock and used sellers, and am selling mine below those for fast sale: $500 plus shipping, which should be around $20 given its relatively light 12lbs weight and size.
Underwood offers mods to this phono stage too, so you have an upgrade path if you want but this stage has been described by more than one reviewer as more than competitive at its MSRP already.
Located in Texas. Prefer PP but will accept personal check and ship after it clears if that's how you want to do it.
