I just got my SN Tube DAC+ w/ the upgrade power supply. I initially hooked it up with new Boulder digital w/ NextGen WBT, but I have a Stereovox to compare. How long should I use the SN before trying to compare digitals?
The Boulder should burn in by 50 hours, and the Stereovox is a used one I got from Byteme and should have enough burnin. I will post the A/B comparo of there two digital ICs.

System is my office system : Rotel 971 integrated and CD player. Von Schweikert VR-1s on stands. Analysis Plus Oval 9 speaker cables and Silver Audio Hiacynth ICs.

Claud:

Congrats on the purchase!  I found it to be great out of the box, and over the next hundred or two hours, it got better.  I think lots of that has to do with just having it on.  If you unplug it and take it somewhere, it will sound best after having it running for a few days.  It likes to be warm.

Let us know what you think of it!

Hantra,
Two things, please. Are you going to attend Saturday? Have you tube rolled your Tube DAC?
Regards

PS   I'm listening to Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" on my Cary 308T/SLP 2002/ Cardas cord/ Senn 600. I have the DVD-A that I'm bringing along with others to the Saturday meet to play on the BelCanto VS surround system . I can hardly imagin this in surround. Its absolutely unbelieveable in tubed 2 ch.

I won't be there Saturday.  I have found tube rolling to be beneficial, but not dramatic.  Theh Amperex sounds best to me.

Actually no.  One of these months, I will host, and you all can hear why I am not posting much anymore.  Or any of my NC boys have an open invite if they get up this way.
