SP3 Converts?
« on: 26 Sep 2011, 06:07 pm »
I was wondering with the release of the SP3, if it will result in more multi-channel listening converts. Particulary multi-channel stereo being that the noise floor in multi-channel analog is as low as 2 channel bypass.

Having an SP2 putting it through the paces, I predict that it will. As I stated before its in another league of sound.:smoke:

Funny you should ask!  I sold one today and traded an amp for a SP2  also. Different customers!
The SP2 will be for sale soon though.  I have to pick it up & check it out.

I've owned an SP1.7 for many years and have always enjoyed multi-channel (SACD/DVD-A) sound so I guess I've been pre-converted.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?) for me, the ambient level of background noise in my listening environment masks any noise coming from the amplifier chain or source material.
