just to be sure: do we have to rebuild the AlbumArt catalogue in the Bryston interface to update album art belonging to new music-files or is that done automatically when updating Music Databases in the settings? Kinda difficult to see because of the random way Max is displaying the AlbumArt.

btw, is it me or is it Max displaying Albumart kinda foggy....there's this visible haze over all Albums.

Thanks,
Marius

I believe (I very much hope!) once you've created the database, it keeys itself up to date.

Yes the scratch drive keeps itself up to date. The haze is on purpose - folks it is background  ONLY. I think we may drop the background with the next software - way to much trouble and concern for people.

Thanks James.

I do hope you don't drop the background. Now that its working, it's a real nice touch to the Max interface. If you took my asking for complaining or trouble, I apologize. Never meant to complain!

Hi Marius

No problem - comments really help me decide what people like and dislike so please keep them coming :thumb: It is just the album art was just an idea to add a graphic to spice thinks up and I wonder if I created more concerns for people instead?

I think the issue was that people didn't fully understand how to use the background feature.
Once you get it going, it does in fact spice things up like you say.
After all, if a user can't get it going, nothing is lost for him but for those who do get it going, it makes the interface look more snazier
