New CDWGs almost require you listen to your speakers "naked" for best results

Now that I have your attention, what I mean is that the new CDWG's have such a broad dispersion that leaving the GRILL on will reduce the quality of sound.

So "STRIP" (gently) off that GRILL and let your new speakers play in all their Cheney Given Glory when you are engaged in serious listening sessions. 8)

It is the SPEAKER that is naked, but your choice of clothing is of course "optional"

Are you including the full length "cloth" grill for the RM30 Series II in that assessment?  Or just the grill with the narrow vertical opening pictured on the RM30 on the website?   BTW, is there a picture of  the  RM30 with a cloth grill on?  Thanks.

The Series II is standard with cloth grills.  While you can listen with the grills attached, their frames do interfere with the action of the Gen 2 CDWG.

You should find pix of the RM30 with the cloth grills in the Forum archives or on the VMPS website www.vmpsaudio.com.
