While we generally include instructions on how to use your VMPS speakers with each pair, and we have
set up stickies that go into detail, we occasionally find users who have failed to remove the protective cellophane covering over the FST tweeter to protect it from damage when they are unpacked.
This only applies to the FST and it is a clear plastic/cellophane pane that must be removed for the tweeter to perform properly.
B, mentioned he recently came across a user who had been listening to his speakers for several years with the cellophane still on
Imagine his surprise as to what he had been missing after it was removed
As well many VMPS customers are not internet forum junkies (like some of us) and they miss the stickies and warnings, so if you know a VMPS owner, just send them a little reminder to "check their FST".
It makes a WORLD of difference, and I would hate for anyone to not get the "FULL MONTY" in the sound department.
