Up for sale is my pair of Madisound RBR speakers designed by our own Jed of clearwave loudspeakers. I bought the kit (scan speak 15S/8531K01 revelator woofers with SB acoustic SB29RDC-C000-4 tweeters with upgraded XO components - Clarity Cap PX and SA caps, Alpha Core Inductors and Mundorf resistors) last year, and built the cabinets myself. Instead of the bookshelf design, i went with the slim floorstanding version and have been very pleased with it. After my odysseys were sold recently, these have just been sitting in the closet.
The cabinet is made of cabinet grade ply with the baffle being 1.5" thick (.75 MDF + .75 ply bonded with polyurethane adhesive). The inside is lined by 1" thick foam on vinyl tiles. Pics are below ... but its a DIY effort. The finishing is not as good as some of the efforts you see here.
Since this is DIY, i've no packing material, and would greatly prefer a local sale (75025). Am willing to drive upto 100 miles to meet you half way.
