Things are going well at cOz Cables.  Orders are going out and the back log is getting a little smaller.  For those considering placing new orders please know that it will be a few weeks before new orders make it to the front of the line.  Not a bad problem  :thumb:

Here are some pics of some cables that are shipping tomorrow.  They are standard Litz braid with Tech Flex, terminated with CMC Bananas and Furutech Spades.

Happy New Year,
Robert

I would like to do a short review of cOz's new IC's made with the same PCOCC wire as his Speaker Cables.

I received a 1 meter pair terminated with Eichmann RCA's, and my comments can be summed up in three words.

1. Quick- The music just flows; or for those of you old enough to remember, "It has a good beat and I can dance to it"

2. Beautiful Tone- I don't know if it is the wire, the construction, or the cotton   I would like to do a short review of cOz's new IC's made with the same PCOCC wire as his Speaker Cables.

2. Beautiful Tone- I don't know if it is the wire, the construction, or the cotton dialectic , or all three, but the harmonic structure of the music is all there

3. Nice- Always the first word that comes to my mind after my listening session; very enjoyable to listen to.

If you like the Speaker Cables, you will very much like the IC's, they are all of one coherent piece.

I have spent a lot more, and have gotten a lot less.

                                                              Very Much Reccomended

ZLS,

Thanks for the kind words.  Wow what a blast from the past.  I didn't think this thread would ever pop up again and much has changed since its inception.

I'm super excited about the Tramontana interconnects.  As some members here know, it took me a long time to get to the point to release this cable.  I tried many things and some worked, some didn't work, and some were impractical to impliment.  This cable however worked from minute 1.

Like ZLS said they share being Ohno Cast Copper just like my speaker cables.  However, the wire is very different.

The wire has the following properties:
1). Pure OCC Copper
2). Enamel Coated Litz construction
3). Rectangular Shape
4). Cotton Dialectic

My explanation of the way this cable sounds is driven by these properties.  I don’t know why but OCC wire is reported to sound smooth and has good tone, Enamel Coated Litz wire has good detail, Rectangular shape minimizing skin effect and has a positive impact on bass reproduction, a cotton dialectic provides low capacitance.

The end result to my ears and others is a very well balanced cable.

Here are some photos

Thanks,
Robert

I'd also like to give a plug for cOz's speaker cables.  Robert made a 23' pair (yes 23'!) for me back in February and they have settled quite well into my ever evolving system.  I can't tell you how many hours it took to burn in because I've been changing things around so much, but I can say that just last week the whole rig just...congealed.  I can't think of a better word for it, but it's sounding great.  Thank you Robert!  Highly recommended!

cOz cables is going to be taking a back seat in my life for a while.  I was recently hired into a very intense new job that will require almost all my time and attention being devoted to either work or family.  I have enjoyed getting to know all of my customers and the feedback they have given me has been great.  I am planning on introducing some very cool connectors as providing them doesn't require a large time commitment.  I'm asking for this thread to be locked as I am no longer selling cables.

Kind regards,
Robert
