I have a customer with a similar room. He has RonHorn A126 loaded into the corners and the bass response is tremendous. If you have FE126 i would not hesitate to recomend FH3 for them. You can try both driver variations and let us know your evaluation.

Ok, I have sold off the TB's, even though I really like them, no place for them and in the wrong cabinet.  Any suggestions for a driver for a half chang?  I'll take suggestions from all

Dave/Chris suggested   Fostex FF225WK

Others...

you might need a tweeter - FT17H would be my first suggestion

FT96 if you can afford the delta over the FT17. Or the Foster tweeters out of a set of Radio Shack pods.

Just put in my ff225wk's from Madisound down the road.  First impressions... Much lower end on these compared to the TB's, (I would assume this is the better cabinet for them) imaging is the same out of the box, but... the top end starts to roll off at 12khz or before and I can tell a difference.  But.. my 11 year old won't, and I save 250 dollars.  I'll keep you informed on the future listening.  Virtue 1.2 and iTouch for electronics.

Drivers:
Heavy, well made
Are the dust covers suppose to be a certain way.. they appear to have two different materials on them..one shiny metal, the other opaque.  Any thoughts on this.

Must be a trick of the light... i've not had a 225 in hand but 85/125/165 have domes that are all the same both sides.

BTW / OT - for those not frequenting the Apple Core threads,  for iPod/phone users looking for a cheap Doc/Dac the Pure i20 is stupid good for $100 (plus shipping)  I ordered one about 2 weeks ago,  it arrived the next day in western Canada, for a grand total of $136 including delivery.

The built in DAC is miles better than those in the Apple devices, and it includes Toslink and coax copper digital outputs, as well as video on mini jack  for those who can take advantage thereof .  Who doesn't know someone who's spent several times this unit's cost on an interconnect cable?

The downside is that when connected to an audio only system, you need to read the menu on the i-device, and the remote's functionality chomps.
