I was proud to see the Well Tempered Turntable (1979) there on page 26.

I saw that, but the comment "there has been nothing like it since" left me mighty puzzled, since there is the Well Tempered Amadeus and Simplex. Those seem a lot like it. Very odd not to mention the current models and their improvements.

You're right, the current models should have received a mention - perhaps a letter from the inventor or other industry mover and shaker might be in order?

The new ones are a variation on the original, hence less significant.

 :)

That date is wrong too.

There was no Well Tempered in 1979.

The WT Arm came out ~1985, the original Turntable followed some years later.
