Odyssey w/Dynaudio?

Has anyone here ever driven Dynaudio's with an Odyssey amp? I'm amp hunting and I'm looking for an amp with an even tonal balance that can drive my Special 25's with ease.

I use Odyssey monos and a tempest with dynaudio geminis (MTM kit with 2 15W75 and a D260 tweeter). The results are very good. The dynaudio like current and a warm tonal balance with excellent dynamics, all are characteristics of the odysseys.
Just a remark, I need to experiment again but the crossover I use in my geminis can have a zobel network for impedance compensation and it seems that the monos work better with this network than without.
I believe dynaudio speakers have a zobel network.

Hi, I use Dynaudio Audience 82 with my Stereo Stratos (cap upgrade) to good effect. I am of course always fiddling with speaker, power and interconnect cables to find exactly the sound balance I like.

Hi ZooDog,

Glad to see a Dynaudio enthusiast in this circle. IMHO, Odyssey amps are a great match w/Dynaudio. I have two pairs of Odyssey amps - the Stratos Monos and the Extreme Monos. I own a pair of Dyn Contour T2.5's, T2.1, pair of Contour 1.1's (HT), and a pair of Confidence C1's. I have also owned the 1.8mk11's but had to sell them to buy the C1s. Before I settled on the C1's, I demo'd a pair of S3.4's, the Spec 25's, and the C1's side by side for about a week and half. I loved the Spec 25's but the overall finesse of the C1's really blew me away. As you may have guessed- I'm a HUGE fan of Dynaudio. I'm also a HUGE fan of Odyssey. Believe the hype - these are great amps, priced right, like the Spec 25's they do so many things right, and you cannot go wrong working with Klaus, the customer service is great.

Upgrading to the C1's was a direct consequence of having the Extremes. I'm fortunate in that I am able to match them to, IMO, a great set of speakers. The Spec 25's are great speakers. Both the Monos and Extreme Monos will match well (if your budget will allow, I recommend the Extremes). I have not owned or listened to the Stratos stereo or Khartago. However, one of the nice things about working with Klaus is the ease of upgrading.

If I sound a little over the top on this response - it's friday, I was doing some late work - helped with a little (?) scotch, listening to my 2 channel system, and decided to quit work and log on. You should have zero problema. I buddy owned the 1.3SEs which were driven with the Stratos w/cap upgrade. I listened to this combo on several occasions with all types of music and the system sounded great. Preamp was a Cary SLP 98 which is an excellent piece of equipment, IMO.

The 25's are a bit more efficient than the 1.3SE which should make it all the easier on the Stratos.
