These worked great in my Dodd Audio battery preamp... in fact better than several other highly regarded 6922 and E188cc/7308 brands! Much tighter bass, better sound staging and mids, etc. Purchased new from "Tube Monger" a couple of years ago. Custom bakelite base military tubes.
I sold the Dodd a while back as well as a phono stage that also used 6922 type tubes and I simply have too many tubes left over. (I went a bit "overboard" buying tubes

I had them in the Dodd for about 5 months and I don't play my system all that much. So I figure perhaps around 200 hours of use? The Dodd battery preamps were designed to use only one half of the tube, so you essentially get twice the tube life when you reverse them! These would be a perfect for anyone who owns the battery Dodd, but will also work in other compatible electronics. Selling for $200/pair, plus shipping from 94122. AudiogoN member Grk.
Fro the TubeMonger website:
"NOTE: After spending $$$$ on tooling and various prototypes, we have fitted Special Grade Flying Leads tubes with Custom Bakelite Bases developed in-house. It is a multi-step, labor intensive process. Each lead is straightened and cleaned to ensure perfect fusion with the base pins in the soldering bath. Process is painstakingly slow, so we will be adding a few tubes at a time to the inventory."
