FS: Response Audio Bella L/P - Reduced to $800 + SOLD

Hello, I am putting up my Response Audio Bella L/P for sale. I was using it with Digital Amp Cherry Jr. and the speakers in question were GR Research / AV123 LS6. It has 3 inputs, Home Theater with bypass switch and 2 outputs and comes with a remote to control volume. The preamp is based around 12au7 tubes and will come with Ei 12au7 tube. Have couple of other tubes (RCA / Raytheon Blackplates (Balwin brand) / RCA Cleartops (Conn branded)). Additional information from Bill Baker @ Response Audio when I purchased the preamp: "The current configuration of the preamp puts is between a Bella L/P and Bella Max."http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=71724.msg682866#msg682866 "It has a few features not found in regular selling pieces. For it has a choke filtered power supply, and high grade poly power supply filter capacitors. It does have HT bypass (preamp must be off when switching into HT mode). It also has two gain switches allowing for various output gain settings." The gain switch was replace with a rotary switch. I believe the pre still has 1 years of warranty left which might be transferable to new owner but waiting for confirmation. (Bill confirmed later in the thread that the warranty will be transferred to new owner and he will look into the length)

Minor scratches on the case and slight transfomer hum that you can hear when standing right next to it.

Okay, just kidding. Yes, the warranty will be transferable on this unit. I will have to check to verify the remaining time left but the newer can but in confidence.

Sold the LS6 and in the process of selling the rest of the gear. In couple of months time will start looking to put the system back together and the Purity line will be the first one to look at

for now will be using the x-statik and/or Neo2x with Onix A120 integrated.

The Bella L/P was originally designated for the BellaMax preamp with a phono stage built in. This is more of a Bella Custom....here is all the details on this particular unit: I still have to check on the remaining warranty.

I can't believe this is still up for $1200.

Shadowlight let me have it for a few weeks, and it was in my possession when the Niteshade tour pre showed up. I had a mini GTG to compare the 2, (it's documented on AC somewhere), and both units were stellar.

But, shortly thereafter I drove up to Endicott NY to meet Bill and buy a pre-production Purity One, I was that impressed with this Bella. And tube rolling lets you get the sound to suit your own taste, though it sounded great with the stock tubes supplied.
