Bugle RCAs

I am finally casing up my Bugle and need to change the RCA arrangement to put them on the case.  I was hoping to leave the existing RCA jacks on the inputs and outputs (both to avoid de-soldering them and to allow future flexibility) and simply solder wires to the PCB pads and route them to RCA jacks on the case.  I'd probalby use a shielded wire for the connections.

Is there any problem in doing so?  If I did that, should I then plug the PCB jacks with either shorting or non-shorting plugs to avoid noise?  Shorting plugs on the output jacks would seem to simply shunt the signal to ground so that doesn't quite seem to make sense, but maybe it would make sense on the inputs?

Thanks for any input!

The "original" RCA jacks will be inside, shielded by the case, so I don't think there will be any problems leaving them untouchable. You don't need any plugs either, especially shorting.

Thanks Poty.  I'll case it up and get back if I find any problems.
