This is the current version. I bought this six weeks ago to try a tube pre with my SS amp. Fantastic! So great that I immediately upgraded. There are about 25-30 hours on it and I used some tubes I had from long ago, so the tubes are new, never been used stock units that came with it. Remote was never removed from the box. At retail, this hits way above it's price and I think you will be very pleased with this outstanding unit. Any flaws are reflections or camera artifacts.
