Stumbled onto this site via a blog link.

http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/

Has some interesting stuff on old tubes, the Loewe multi-valve (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/loewe.html),  tons on tesla coils and high voltage stuff, something that's not the latest tweak for your CDs (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/cdzap.html), a diagram of a rather complex home AV system (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/avsystem.html), his 1000 CD jukebox setup (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/cdjukebox.html), how to make your own homemade PCBs (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/pcbs.html), a ton on lasers, and mixed in between each topic section, a ton of good links.  Other reason I mentioned was that he has some interesting old electronics and tube books for dirt cheap (http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/forsale.html).

Entire site is worth a browse..

A very cool site. This guy probably looks like a Hollywood version of the mad scientist. :)

Ya know I could have gone a long time with out seeing that stuff!

Once I get a workshop I'm going to have to test some of it out!    :bomb:

Hah, you see the one called RK-28A? I have one of those. Or rather, I had one, I gave it to a friend who collects weird scientific glasseware. The filament was blown  :(
