Every year I get a rent rebate check that I totally blow on whatever is in my head rattling around. The check showed up and not 2 minutes later I got an email from Amazon these JBL's I always wanted were on sale. I started out buying them at 6:30am, cancelled them, then decided to get them-it took 2 full days and 7 Amazon reps to make it happen with each mistake they made bringing the price down....hahahaha...started at $476, finally bought and paid $268 for them-they are out for delivery-I'm like a kid at Christmas.
 

JBL-L830's originally ordered Cherry and the retailers last mistake got me Black and next day air. Sometimes things work out, it was the most frustrating couple days though...LOL..

putz---your right this year was $500 if I could go without touching the money I could definitely do that, the problem is I honestly don't think I could sit for 3 years and watch the money without something else "thats perfect" slipping into my sub-conscious and sabotaging the prime directive...LOL. I just don't have that kind of self control, I'm amazed others can do that but your right......hhmmmm

 By the way these are in a league of JBL clarity and smooth even sound I haven't heard before from my favorite logo. I love it, they are rear ported so I have them out a bit from the walls. Most of my collection of JBL's have that pronounced JBL sound, these are different, clearer and way tighter-which I didn't think possible. These were the ones I never seemed to get lucky and run into, the fact that I got them so cheap from a major online retailer just amazes me.
